EYS Turbos - Labor Day Tournament - Day 2

Day 2 of the East Brunswick Labor Day tournament has come and gone...and the Turbos have not officially played their first games as a travel team. We weren't able to crack the W column yet, but the kids played their hearts out and never gave up.

Game 1: Turbos vs. SDFC

The first game of the day was an early 1. 8:00am...and the Turbos were ready to go. SDFC got out to an early lead and had the Turbos on their heals for most of the game. That didn't discourage the young Turbos. They kept battling for each other and eventually broke through to get on the scoreboard. The the final score may have been in SDFC's favor...the Turbos scored big in effort and sportsmanship!!

Game 2: Turbos vs. SFL

The second game of the day didn't go much better for the Turbos, falling to the eventual standings leaders in their group. It was another gutsy performance by the Turbos who came close on several chances, but were only able to find the back of the net once. The Turbos went down in defeat, but their spirits stayed high, and they walked away with their heads held high. They put in a great effort this weekend.
